Happy Coordinator
Mark McPhillips
Mark McPhillips, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, recently returned home after 14 years as a Tennis Professional in St. Louis, Missouri. His time there included eight years as the Director of Tennis at The Highlands Golf and Tennis Club.
Prior to Mark’s time at The Highlands, he was the Assistant Head Pro at Old Warson Country Club in St. Louis where he ran all aspects of the Club’s highly-successful junior sports camp.
More recently, Mark was the Junior Director of Tennis at Camargo Racquet Club and the Head Pro of Racquet Sports at Kenwood Country Club.
Mark played high school tennis for Moeller High School and played NCAA Division I tennis at Bradley University in Illinois.
Mark is a certified United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) professional for 15+ and certified by the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR).

Paige McPhillips
My name is Paige McPhillips, I am a third year at the University of Cincinnati studying International Business and German. At UC I am currently involved in the professional business fraternity of Alpha Kappa Psi. Outside of UC, I work at Kenwood County Club, Cincinnati Tennis Foundation, and Camargo Racquet Club. I have been teaching tennis for 5 years now and am super excited to be apart of this team!

Hello, my name is Ronin McPhillips and I am a junior at Anderson High School, I teach at Kenwood Country Club and Camargo Racquet club. I love to be outdoors and hanging out with friends, and I am very excited to be a part of the after school tennis and pickleball program.

Hi my name is Allison McPhillips and I’m a freshman at the University of Cincinnati. I am currently studying business marketing with a minor in management. I am also involved in Greek life as a member of Chi omega. I have been playing tennis for as long as I can remeber and have been teaching it for the past four years. Teaching tennis to kids is truly a happy place for me and I am so happy to be apart of the Happy Racquets team!

Hi! My name is Shannon Haney and I am currently a senior at Anderson high school. At Anderson I am involved with cross country, track, swim, and choir, but that’s not all. I am also apart of Anderson High School’s teacher academy program. Through this I have developed a passion for working with kids whether it’s in the classroom or in the gym coaching tennis and pickle ball.

Hi my name is Shiv Patel and I’m a Senior at Anderson High School. At Anderson, I run Cross Country and play Tennis at the Varsity level. I’ve grown a passion for Tennis after playing it throughout my High School career and am looking forward to teaching it by being apart of the Happy Racquets team!

Hey everyone! My name is Siya, like See-Yah later. I’m a senior at Anderson High School looking to pursue research in Bioengineering at MIT. Outside of science, I love running, writing, painting, and building tiny things. A fun fact about me is that I’m a triplet and I can hoola-hoop for a long time. I love working with kids and can’t wait to help out at Happy Racquets!

Hello, my name is Lyla Jaynes and I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I am a freshman at the University of Cincinnati, and I’m studying communications. I am also a part of the Greek life organization Chi Omega! I played tennis throughout the four years of my high school career and still play for fun. I’m very excited to teach kids how to play pickleball and tennis, along with connecting with them. Their excitement and want to learn makes me excited to teach!!

Hello, my name is Brooke Moser, and I am a first year at the University of Cincinnati! I am originally from Colorado, and love sports! I am studying communications for sports broadcasting. I am currently a member of the Pi Alpha Chi Omega Chapter and love spending time with my sisters. I have always had a passion for working with kids, and enjoy teaching and watching them apply themselves to learn new skills!

I currently work in corporate communications and investor relations for a rare disease therapeutics company.
